From March 19 to 22, French speaking Catholic communities in Asia will gather in Manila for four days of reflection, prayer and sharing. These Pastoral Days will bring together participants from China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Japan. The Chaplain General of the Francophone Catholic Communities in the World (CCFM), Msgr Robert Poinard, representative of the Bishops of France, will also be present.
The program is organized by the French speaking parish of Manila and the Assumptionist brothers. Two highlights will be open to all:
- Wednesday, 20th March at 10.30am, conference and debate (in English) about « Faith, religion and society” with Msgr Ambo David (Bishop of Caloocan and Vice President of the Bishop’s Conference in the Philippines) at the Saint Camillus Pastoral Health Care Center, 18 Nicanor Reyes Street, Loyola Height, Quezon City.
- Thursday, 21st March at 7pm, mass at the French parish and meeting with the communities of Asia and the parishioners around a buffet.
